M.G.C (Machinable Glass Ceramic)

MGC: Machinable Glass Ceramic have the following power feature

  a) Is Machinable with ordinary metal working tools.

  b) Allows Fast Turnaround,no post firing required.

  c) Holds Tight Tolerances, up to .0005"

  d) Withstands High Temperature, up to 800℃

  e) Is Clean, no outgasing and zero porosity

Machinable Glass Ceramic is a white,ceramic-liked material. It is a combination of fluorophlogopite mica and borosilicate glass It can be machined into complex shapes and precision sizes with just normal cutting tools I.e. high speed steel tools. No post firing is required thus fast turnaround.

 Marchinig processes like sawing,turning,milling,drlling, tapping,grinding,polishing....etc can be performed with ease.

 We Provide  rods, bars, sheets and finished components to customer drawings.
